A few of our favorite places to eat...

Palapas -- Casual, authentic, awesome Mexican seafood restaurant in Lowest Greenville (***fun fact -- we had our first date here!)

Rodeo Goat -- REALLY good burgers in the Design District (very close to the Courtyard Marriott)

Cibo Divino -- Casual pizza and pasta place with a really nice outdoor patio and room for kids to run around.

Meddlesome Moth -- Excellent gastropub in the Design District.  

Smoke -- A classy barbecue place (Siobhan's surprise 30th birthday party was here).  Afterwards walk next door to Bar Belmont for a drink and Dallas skyline views.

Uchi -- Our very favorite sushi restaurant.  You will probably need a reservation.

Trompo -- Calling this taco joint a hole in the wall is an exaggeration, but Bon Apetit just named it one of America's best new restaurants.

Mesa Restaurant -- More upscale and very authentic Mexican seafood restaurant, famous for hosting Beyonce, Jay-Z, Conan O'Brian, and now you!  Reservations recommended.

Ten Ramen -- Don't plan on sitting,  taking a group, or getting food to go, but this teeny tiny Ramen shop is worth it.

The following restaurants are in the Bishop Arts District which is a great place to stroll around, shop, eat and people watch.

Eno's Pizza Tavern-- A Bishop Arts classic.  Go early and try to get a sidewalk seat.

Oddfellows -- Casual American food, especially good for brunch.

Boulevardier -- French bistro.  Great place for brunch, lunch, dinner, cocktails...  Their sister restaurant, Rapscallion, in Lowest Greenville is also very good.

Lockhart Smokehouse -- You came all the way to Texas, you have to try some barbecue!

Flights

Dallas has two airports. DFW International Airport (DFW) is about 30 minutes from downtown. Love Field Airport (DAL) is about 15 minutes from downtown.
